Bought this pickup in 1996, just a shell, no engine or tranny. Guy brought it back from Wyoming but never started on it. Spent three years building it in my garage. The 3.4 V-6, tranny and steering column came from a donor 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo. I also used the wiring harness and computer in order to keep the throttle-body fuel injection. The front clip is torsion-bar from a Plymouth Volare with Ford rack-and-pinion steering. The roof was chopped 4 inches. I built the bed and tool box from scratch with 2 x 4 channel and redwood slats. Finished in ’99, I entered it in a few car shows and had great fun driving it for 15 years before selling it.
